This remarkable Chassagne Montrachet from Domaine Joseph Pascal is a joy. Open, complex notes of white blossom and peach are interlaced with a distinct and elegant mineral flint edge.
This 2019 cuvée is a very pure and very precise expression and there is a wonderful simplicity and purity about the palate. However don’t let that fool you as there is a still much complexity and texture here with plenty of density and core structure
Aged in oak for 10 months, 25% of which were new barrels, this 2019 shows a wonderfully long and fine line which leads to an incredible length of finish. A truly lovely balance that oozes finesse.
