Château d'Aiguilhe Castillon, 2016

SGD 55.00

The 2016 Chateau d'Aiguilhe is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc picked between the 30th September and the 18th October, matured in 30% new oak.

It has a warm and sensual bouquet with an abundance of small macerated black cherries, blueberry and sloes and a light floral tincture that emerges over time.

This has a little more strictness compared to the 2015 but the palate is wonderfully medium to full bodied with fine tannin and good structure. Sappy black fruit, a touch of spice towards the finish, and you have yourself a very very fine Côtes de Castillon.
